Eternity comes from Robbie Williams' single double pack Eternity/The Road To Mandalay. Eternity strangely did not appear on any of Robbie Williams' albums, but later on did eventually appear on a Greatest Hits collection. This song also features an appearance by Brian May on lead guitar. In 2001 in the UK, it was the 20th best selling single.

The music video for both Eternity and The Road To Mandalay are linked, telling a story of Robbie robbing a bank, using the money to buy an enormous mansion, winning over a girl, but then ends up getting arrested and leaving the woman alone. Chronologically, The Road To Mandalay happens first, Eternity taking place shortly after. Eternity also features a lot of flashbacks to The Road To Mandalay's video.
